Q. The product I received came without ice and is warm. Is it safe to eat?
A. Yes, the non-perishable and semi-perishable items ( cooked country ham,uncooked ham, sausage and bacon) are completely safe for up to 10 days without refrigeration.
Q. The package says "Keep Refrigerated",yet there's no ice in the box. Is this a problem?
A. No, not at all for raw or cooked county ham, bacon and sausage. We didn't forget to add ice. The "Keep Refrigerated" sticker on the box is just a reminder to put the product in refrigeration immediately upon receiving your shipment.
Q. There is mold and while material on the raw ham I received?
A. This is perfectly harmless mold that appears on uncooked country ham as a natural result of the aging process.
Follow cooking instructions by scrubbing ham surface with hot water and a stiff brush.
